About this place
Tucked into a side street not far from Akihabara and Iwamotocho Stations, Maid Cafe Komorebi Fiika Tokyo is a quiet tearoom furnished with antique appointments. Attendants dressed in classical full-length maid aprons welcome visitors in gentle tones, while vinyl records spin on the turntable at scheduled times. Far removed from the high-energy concept cafes often associated with the district, the salon offers a tranquil setting where solo guests can comfortably settle in.
At the heart of the experience is a diverse selection of teas paired with confections. Japanese tea options include balanced, aromatic sencha, mild and refreshing roasted hojicha, and fragrant genmaicha, each steeped and poured with attentive care. To complement the hot tea, the menu features simple castella cake, a pudding à la mode parfait, and rotating baked goods such as daily cookies and scones.
Those seeking classic kissaten flair can order the Tokimeki Cream Soda, served in dedicated house glassware. With colors ranging from strawberry and melon to blue, Kyoho grape, and honey lemon, the drink adds a cheerful splash to the table. In classic maid cafe fashion, guests can also order omurice or cake decorated with syrup and sauce upon request, or take home a commemorative cheki instant photo.
With just 5 counter seats and roughly 3 tables, the compact parlor allows guests to watch coffee being brewed up close or spend a quiet afternoon reading. It provides a peaceful retreat from the urban buzz, ideal for savoring hot tea and traditional sweets at a gentle pace.
